Samuel’s mission of vengeance, however, is put on hold when he is forced to escort a Jewish refugee to a safehouse operated by Black Fox Ten, a high-ranked member of the resistance.

REVIEW:

This book was hard to put down but emotionally engaged me from the first page. I have never read this author before but it was something I enjoyed. For those that have family who have been through the Holocause, this book will make you think about the effects it had on people in a way that can be considered supporting and truthful. This is a book that I highly recommend to readers who love historical fiction.

There was a slight issue I had with this book, other than the fact that I loved it. It took me just a small amount of time to figure out who was who. This is a continuation of "Fractured" but it can be read as a standalone. It didn't take me long to sort through the tiniest amount of confusion I had and that shouldn't stop other readers. I just wish I had read "Fractured" beforehand to really appreciate and understand this author more. But I will read the other works from this author and look forward to her future books.
